We strive to make our events educational and accessible for all members of the investment community, regardless of their level of experience. At the same time, we try to provide opportunities at our conferences for networking and idea sharing to allow experienced professionals to compare techniques and combine their skills to achieve better results. A look at the most recent attendee data from the 64th CFA Institute Annual Conference shows that we’re on track to achieve both results.
The conference already attracted more than 1000 delegates to date. Of the 573 who have responded to our survey, 13% have indicated that they are top executives at their firms (defined as CEO/President/Partner/Principal), while 23% listed themselves as portfolio managers.
More than half of the attendees completing our survey indicated that they had more than 11 years of investment experience. The remaining attendees were split between 1–5 years’ experience and 6–10 years’ experience.
