Kick off the conference and connect with your fellow delegates at a “Welcome to Philadelphia” reception, held in the historic Ballroom at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Enjoy the spectacular surroundings of the historic Philadelphia venue that was originally the Reading Railroad Company’s waiting room.

Sample delights from Philadelphia’s culinary scene, including cheesesteaks, pork sliders, and craft beers from local breweries.

Monday, 22 May 2017, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

There is no better way to explore a city than by foot, so slip on some comfortable shoes and join our guides on a walking tour of colonial Philadelphia. Your journey of discovery begins on modern-day Market Street, which you’ll learn got its name from the colonial market stalls that bustled with life in the 1700s. Stroll towards Independence National Historic Park and hear stories about what made colonial Philadelphia the seat of government. Along the way, take in the sights of the Liberty Bell Center, and Independence Hall.

The tour will culminate at Reading Terminal Market, where you can enjoy lunch or shopping at your leisure.

Guests will meet at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown on the 12th Street side at 8:45 a.m. for boarding. Return transportation will be provided to the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown for those who do not wish to explore Reading Terminal Market at their leisure.

Dress is casual.

Join us for dinner and networking at the National Constitution Center and be transported back in time to the Prohibition era and the roaring 1920s.
Be entertained by a 1920s jazz band, and partake in whiskey tastings in the secret speakeasy.

Explore the various exhibitions, including Signers’ Hall, where you can sign the Constitution alongside 42 life-size, bronze statues of the Founding Fathers. Don’t miss out on a visit to the Rooftop Terrace, which provides a majestic view of Philadelphia’s famous historic landmarks.
