Andrew S. Auchincloss

Andrew S. Auchincloss is a partner at Schlesinger Lazetera & Auchincloss LLP. He focuses his practice on estate and investment planning strategies under US law for US and non-US individuals and families. Mr. Auchincloss represents wealthy individuals and families, tax-exempt organizations, banks, trust companies, family offices, private trust companies, and other clients in a broad range of substantive areas. Previously, he was a partner at the global law firm Sidley Austin LLP and a director in the Wealth Management Group at Bernstein Global Wealth Management, where he conducted research and assisted the firm’s clients in the areas of international and domestic planning. Mr. Auchincloss was also a partner at White & Case LLP, representing international and domestic families, charities, and financial institutions. He serves as chairman of the Trusts, Estates and Surrogate’s Court Committee of the New York City Bar Association. Mr. Auchincloss has been elected a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He was recognized in the 2016 edition of Chambers High Net Worth, Who’s Who Legal: Private Client 2016, and Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Auchincloss received a BA from Yale University and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
