Deborah Fuhr

Deborah Fuhr is the managing partner and co-founder of ETFGI, an independent research and consultancy firm. Previously, she served as global head of ETF research and implementation strategy and managing director at BlackRock/Barclays Global Investors. Ms. Fuhr has served as a managing director and head of the investment strategy team at Morgan Stanley and as an associate at Greenwich Associates. She received a 100 Women in Finance 2017 European Industry Leadership Award, the 2014 William F. Sharpe Lifetime Achievement Award, the Nate Most Greatest Contributor to the ETF Industry Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award. Ms. Fuhr has been named several times by Financial News as one of the “100 Most Influential Women in Finance.” She co-founded and is on the board of Women in ETFs. Ms. Fuhr frequently writes articles for financial publications and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Indexes (United States), the Journal of Indexes (Europe), and Money Management Executive, as well as the advisory board for the Journal of Index Investing. She holds a BS degree from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
