Eelco Fiole, CFA
Eelco Fiole, CFA, is co-founding partner and the sole managing partner at Alpha Governance Partners, which provides risk-focused, jurisdiction-agnostic, conflict-free, professional directors to investment vehicles globally. He is also an adjunct professor of finance ethics at HEC Lausanne. Based in Zurich and Singapore and with 25 years of experience, Dr. Fiole is a governance expert and is active in complex investments and fintech. He has almost 10 years of chief operating officer (COO) and chief financial officer (CFO) experience and served as CFO of the Tezos Foundation, COO of alternative investments at Credit Suisse Asset Management, and group CFO of Millennium Global Investments. Dr. Fiole gained advisory experience at PwC and started his career as an institutional banker at ABN AMRO. He is associated with the Center for Social Innovation at Cambridge Judge Business School. Dr. Fiole holds the C.Dir., CAIA, CIFD, and FRM designations, volunteers as chair of the Annual Conference Advisory Group of CFA Institute, and speaks on risk, ethics, and governance. He holds degrees in ethics, leadership, law, business, and engineering and a PhD in economics.
