Mindy S. Lubber

Mindy S. Lubber is CEO and president of Ceres, a non-profit organization that mobilizes many of the world’s largest investors and companies to take stronger action on climate change, water scarcity, and other global sustainability challenges. She directs Ceres’ Investor Network on Climate Risk and Sustainability. Ms. Lubber presented at TEDxLakeGeneva and blogs for Huffington Post and Forbes. She received the Climate Visionary Award from the Earth Day Network and the William K. Reilly Award for Environmental Leadership from the Center for Environmental Policy at American University. Vogue magazine featured Ms. Lubber as a “Climate Warrior,” and the NYU Stern School of Business appointed her as a Distinguished Citi Fellow in Leadership and Ethics. She was honored by the UN and the Foundation for Social Change as one of the “World’s Top Leaders of Change.” Ms. Lubber has held leadership positions in various sectors. She served as regional administrator at the US Environmental Protection Agency and was the founder, president, and CEO of Green Century Capital Management, an environmentally responsible mutual fund family. Ms. Lubber served as director of the Mass Public Interest Research Group. She earned an MBA from SUNY Buffalo and a law degree from Suffolk University.
