Scott Galloway

Scott Galloway is a professor of marketing at the NYU Stern School of Business, where he teaches brand strategy and digital marketing. He has been named “One of the World’s 50 Best Business School Professors” by Poets & Quants. Professor Galloway is the founder of Red Envelope, Prophet, and L2 Inc., which was acquired by Gartner. He is the author of The Four and The Algebra of Happiness: Notes on the Pursuit of Success, Love, and Meaning. Professor Galloway was elected to the World Economic Forum’s Global Leaders of Tomorrow and has served on the board of directors of Eddie Bauer, the New York Times Company, Urban Outfitters, and UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. He writes a weekly newsletter, No Mercy / No Malice, and is the cohost of Pivot, a news commentary podcast. Professor Galloway received a BA from UCLA and an MBA from Berkeley Haas.
